Bingo "Remixed" App
For this project I created a “remix” of the famed game, BINGO, redesigned and reimagined for a mobile device experience!
Movies are a way of bringing people together, sparking conversations, and
creating shared experiences. Inspired by my love for movies and bingo, I set out to design an app that merges the two in an interactive and rewarding way. The app, named REEL BINGO, allows users to select movie categories and generates a personalized list of films using APIs. As users watch and check off movies, they progress toward completing a Bingo grid, adding an element of challenge and achievement to their cinematic journey.
Wireframes
When I began working on my movie-themed Bingo app, I started with low-fidelity (lo-fi) wireframes to sketch out the app’s structure and layout. This initial stage was all about getting my ideas on paper (or a digital canvas) and focusing on the user flow rather than the finer details of design.

Using lo-fi wireframes allowed me to quickly iterate and refine the core features, like the main menu where users can select movie categories, the Bingo grid itself, and the progress tracker for achievements.
Design
Next, I prioritized color and typography and making the app look nice overall. I wanted it to be functional but stylish, and resemble Netflix, a popular movie-streaming app! This is so that users are familiar with the concept!
